Jeanne,

Sometimes short and simple are the best poems. Your meaning can get lost in all the eloquent prose.

Gosh, been busy here. I looked at my poems the other day and I don't know if I'm ready to reveal them. They are horrid and all of you would be so kind as to say they are nice poems. I wouldn't want to make liars out of any of you. Blackmail is good Cale. I'm afraid all of you would laugh at me being that all of you have talent and I certainly do not. But how can one laugh at one's feelings, I guess. Let me muster the courage.

Not one of us would laugh. I don't believe in giving someone a negative criticism that's just cruel, but I don't believe in telling someone their stuff's excellent when it needs some finishing touches. I remember that awesome poem your son wrote, he had to get that talent from somewhere.

Well I think that he did not get it from me. He is just a thinker, like I. And he's just only 15 and he can write something that wonderful. At least I thought it was wonderful but I'm his mom. I think what I like most from his poem is that he has such a beautiful heart and he believes in romance. Don't get me wrong, Jared is a great kid as well but he doesn't talk much to me. I never know what is in his heart but James lets me in his.

I dont like the sex scenes to be to full on. I recently read the first of the Bastion Club and found I skipped through the love scenes. I also felt she gets them into bed a bit quick as well. I like the KEW way of developing the tension that keeps you inthralled.

I havent done a lot of poetry over the years butI wrote one a few years ago so thought i would share it.

I am!
Who I am!
I am who I be!
A flowing mane I have
For you to see!
I roar like a lion!
I'm LEO
Thats me!
