That's a nice review. Anxious though to buy the book in print. Carol acknowledges me in the book, ha ha!!!! That's the closest I'll ever have my name in print!!!! But it is nice to be in there. I guess I can be proud of myself for something I did in this life. (She is probably just being nice) _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. Carol, how do you vote? I have a question for you. Since I helped you critique Cost of Freedom I skimmed through some the rough draft to critique BBH. Remember when I got the names mixed up. Anyways, I remember Harrison talking to Abigail why he never married and he said something on the lines that he had never met anyone before. Now Victoria shows up in the second book. I know what happens. Does the published version still have Harrison saying this to Abigail in COF. I could look it up but I'm so lazy right now. I had some thoughts here on something. You know I gotta think sometimes. _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. The tears won't permit you to see the stars. |

Hi Jeanne,
The final version of COF does say that with a slight alteration.
I finished edits for BBH and sent them to my editor. I think you will be surprised with a few things I added and changed since the first rough draft. But, I think you will approve.
Voting starts tomorrow at The Long and Short Review website. They will have directions on the site then.
I can't believe it...a 5 book review AND a nomination. WOW!! _________________ Carol

Okay, I was just wondering. I'm gonna have to read that part in the published version and see what you put. I remember thinking about this a while back when I was skimming over the draft of the first book to get my names straight in the second book. I really need to read the published version. Now I can't remember if Abigail asked him this or if he was just thinking this, you know, about for the first time he felt lonely. I know, been lazy and involved in this genealogy and taking care of Tony and his moods to read. I really would like to have a laptop to read in bed. I sure wish that I could afford one. I don't think the kindle will work for me but a laptop would. I would want one also with a dvd player to watch movies in bed too. I wish a lot, lol.
Sorry didn't get back with you but it seems you did well on your own. My mind goes off on tangents with all the things going on in my brain at times. So when BBH comes out, I will have some surprises.
Your success is my joy really. So with that I will certainly vote tomorrow when the directions are up there. I liked the review too and the reviewer picked up on Harrison as well.
Congratulations for sure!!!! You deserve it. _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. The tears won't permit you to see the stars. |

I was surprised, and glad, to see she picked up on Harrison. I can't wait to hear what you think of BBH. I will tell you this, I was able to tie everything up in BBH, so there won't be a book 3. _________________ Carol

Now that is interesting. Wonder what you did. I think this is fine. I had a feeling that you really wanted to be done with the book anyways. On to other adventures!!!!! _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. The tears won't permit you to see the stars. |

Carol, I voted. It didn't appear that I did because a white screen kept coming up. So I voted again and it took a while for another screen to come up and said that I can't vote more than once or something like that. Tried to look at the results too but the site wouldn't open. So I got on the other computer and the same thing happened. I know the other computer has a different IP address but it still recognized that I had already voted. I know the IP addresses on these computers are almost the same except by one number. Going to try again to see if I can get the results so far. And no, I wasn't trying to cheat. I just didn't think that it took my vote. _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. The tears won't permit you to see the stars. |

Hi Jeanne,
It did that to me to on my first attempt. I had to switch to Firefox and Internet explorer.
Thanks for trying. I hope it went through. _________________ Carol
