When you read a book, do you become a member of the family or do you prefer to just pass through? _________________ Carol

I don't mind series and one good book is fine as well. _________________ Don't cry if you have lost the sun. The tears won't permit you to see the stars. |

| I cose series as long as the author knows where to end it. I, like Jeanne, prefer one good book, but I've read lots of series books that I really enjoyed. I don't like when it gets out of hand and there's like 15 books in one series, that then has characters from another series that are 15 books as well. A series about the same couple, in turns of romance, is good when it's been prethought, and not because the first book was a success so make a sequel. I don't mind when it carries on with the family, focusing on different members or friends. Granted I can think of an exception to each of the things I said above, because it mostly depends on how talented the author is and how well the story's written. |

| I like both but hate being disapointed by a follow up that's just an excuse to sell. |
