|
|
In a Boston cemetery, Abigail Matthews overhears two Patriots plotting against her beloved England. She confides in her childhood friend William Jackson and is shocked to learn of his support and involvement with the Sons of Liberty.
Alone one night and surrounded by an English patrol, Abigail shoots a British soldier. She is no longer seen as a Loyalist and tries to escape the watch. William finds her and brings her with him to Berkshire where they discover hostile Loyalists, unstable Indian alliances, and each other.
William sets out on one last assignment and is confronted by the man Abigail shot and a female gun smuggler. In the flash of a discharged gun barrel, William fights for more than freedom. _________________ Carol

I've started reading COF, that I won in the contest but I haven't gotten that far. I've got to where Abigail arrives in the Colonies. Can't wait to read more. I get distracted by wanting to look things up. You know, one site leads to another. |

| I entered a contest on some website that was linked to Carol's website to win the book and I won. That is how I have the book. And it looks pretty cool too. I've never had an e-book before. But this looks just like a regular book. You know how they do the spacing and all that in a book so everything is even after each line. I hope you get it when it comes out. I'm going to buy the print version as well. |

Hi Delia,
The official (digital) release date is May 30. I'll add a purchase link as soon as I get one. The print release date is Nov. 28. Amazon.com should have both versions listed on their site at some point. I keep checking, but there's nothing listed yet. _________________ Carol

| Delia I've yet to read it either, but I can't wait. Carol's book is my current "wait" book. I always have a book I want to read, but it either isn't out yet, or it's hard to locate. |

And now we also wait for your book and Andi's. Umm, any time you want to give as a little sample... _________________ Carol

Can you believe Cost of Freedom will be released a week from Friday? I know I should be confident, but I'm nervous. I'm so glad you guys will be here to hold me up. _________________ Carol
