Karen Kendall's Take Me if You Can is fabulous.
This is a contemporary, romantic suspense. The author's writing and characters are fantastic. _________________ Carol

If you are looking for a YA, Scott Westerfeld's Uglies and Blue Noon are wonderful. There is never a dull moment in either book. One caution: these books are part of two separate series. Read them in order or you might feel like your lagging a little. _________________ Carol

| My most recent was the book by Carol's friend Johanna Bourne The Spymaster's Lady. Very good and interesting. There's also books by Celia Rivenbark that I absolutely love and read over and over. She writes a weekly collum for a newpaper in North Carolina about southern living, white trash living, parenting, family troubles, etc that she's now put into novels. You can find them in the humor section, 3 in all. Highly reccommend if you want a piss your pants funny, though very un-PC, book. |

Hi Cale,
I'm glad you liked Jo's book. The sequel is due out in July. _________________ Carol

| I just read Last Known Victim by Erica Spindler. It was awesome, but I guess it was the latest in a series, so I need to go and find the rest now. |

You've got to do Joe e Abercrombie , Carol and Jeanne I know you do Sci/SF so you will love these. the are so diverse it's unbelievable
I read all three in a week. rushed out to buy the last one. He has taken the genre to a new dimension. No elves and fairies but a fantastic gruesome imagination that click with the dream state and reality. Gog! I sound like a critique! |
